2Getting started

Bmator lets you work with your knowledge — documents, mail, meetings, accounts — in one place, and ask questions about it. Bring what you choose; start with one folder.

When you sign in for the first time, the screen displays Welcome to Bmator. From here, you can explore the primary actions available across the platform:

1. Put documents in your Library: Upload files or a whole folder. Each one is converted so search and Ask can read it.
2. Ask a question: Ask Bmator about your documents. Every answer shows the passages it came from.
3. Choose your applications: Mail, Meetings, Reportomator, BPMator and more. Open the ones you need; each shows its first steps. You can also select Go to my applications to view and access your tools directly.

The side menu on the left leads to every part of Bmator. Each later chapter of this manual explains one of its items.
