12.7Settings and connection types (workspace admins)

Available in:EnglishFrançais

In Bmator, all workspace members can view Knowledge Graph configurations, but only workspace admins can change them.

Knowledge Graph settings

Go to Knowledge Graph settings to control how the graph processes information across the workspace.

Admins can configure the following areas:

  • What it reads: Define the sources the graph monitors.
  • Automated linking certainty: Set how sure Bmator must be before linking a name on its own. Matches below this threshold are routed to review lists.
  • Other names (aliases): Provide alternative names and aliases the graph should recognize.
  • Linking rules: Establish conditions the system must respect, such as never linking a specific word to a company. Choose Save words to record word-based conditions.
  • Reading with AI (optional, paid): Enable AI-assisted extraction. AI reading stops when the amount set in Monthly budget (€) is spent in the month, and resumes the next month. Without a budget, it cannot be turned on.
  • Use the graph when answering questions: Allow Ask to follow graph connections when responding to inquiries.
  • Re-read all content: Reprocess all existing content after changing configuration options.

Connection types

The Connection types page shows the relationship models available in the workspace. Connection kinds are organized into three states: In use, Proposed by the AI, and Retired.

When documents are analyzed, candidate relationships may be suggested based on the text. Admins can review these suggestions and decide whether to include them.

To review and update connection types:

  1. Open Connection types.
  2. In the Proposed by the AI list, select a Type to see where the AI found it in your texts.
  3. Choose Use this type to activate the connection, or select Dismiss to reject the suggestion.
  4. To deactivate an active relationship, open the connection under In use and choose Retire this type to move it to Retired.
