8Notes

Available in:EnglishFrançais

Notes is available in the side menu directly below the Library. It provides a personal place to write and format notes using headings, bold text, italics, underline, bulleted lists, numbered lists, quotes, links, and colour.

Every note belongs to the person who wrote it and stays within their personal workspace regardless of which workspace is currently active. Notes are private by default, meaning only the author can view them until they choose to share them. All changes save automatically as you type.

You can locate notes using the global search or the search box on the Notes page.

Overview of Notes Topics

The following sections describe how to manage and work with your notes:

  1. Writing and finding notes: Create a new note using New note, organise entries using Mine, Shared with me, In the knowledge base, or Labels, and search your collection.
  2. Sharing a note: Grant other users access to view or collaborate on your notes.
  3. Using a note in Ask answers: Enable specific notes so Ask Bmator can reference their content when answering questions.
  4. History and export: Review note revisions and export your content to Markdown, PDF, or Word.
  5. Saving an Ask answer or an email as a note: Capture information directly into Notes from Ask answers or incoming emails.
